My string of turtles is slowly dying and I'm not sure why

There used to be a lot of turtles on top of the soil in this pot last summer. Over the winter they have slowly died back to this. They get a lot of sunlight and a plant lamp and I water them about every 10 days. Any clue as to what's wrong? Thank you
Hey! I’m sorry this is happening. Unfortunately, during the winter months a lot of our plants really start to decline due to the lessens hours of light & sun! Right now, I’d say this pot has become way too big for the plant.. I’d recommend repotting what’s left, into a much smaller pot! Possibly 2” diameter to get that guy going & growing again!
I completely agree with @elisenavidad that this pot is too big. @PondMuck so these guys are super easy to propagate. Mine died back a lot too because too much light caused these to bleach and then their vines get brittle. If you wanna give it a try, cut one little turtle with a piece of the vine so you include the node, and lay it on moist sphagnum moss or damped perlite. Put it in a tented baggie in adequate light. And in about 10 days little baby vines will grow. The roots will be long enough in about three weeks. I had about 6-8 turtles fall off mine and I did this and as you can see it’s going great.

Secondly, this is a peperomia , which means it needs to be potted like a peperomia. Their roots need to breathe otherwise they can die off.
@elisenavidad thank you!
@TheOddAsity thank you, I'll get him on some sphagnum moss. What do you mean when you say the roots need to breathe? How can I best do that?
