Why are my goji berry plant leaves turning limp and greyi...

Hey everyone! My goji berry isn’t doing too well, I’ve been trying to diagnose it for a long time with no luck. A majority of the leaves are curled and have red petioles.
8” pot with drainage

The sap sucking pests are feasting on your plant, causing leaves to curl and drop. This white thing in the circle is a mealybug, the pest.
The pot is too big and the soil retains too much moisture. Roots of a relatively small plant do not absorb much water, and the plant is sitting in wet soil all the time.
@SvelteKingfern Thanks for the response! But the soil is usually dry when I water the plant. I also stuck a stick down to the bottom of the pot and it came out with very little soil stuck to it.
Thanks for your response.
Could you send a photo of these red petioles, and of a curled leaf?
@SvelteKingfern I would have never noticed that. Thank you sm.
I vouch for the Neem Oil Spray. Ready made, no mixing required, natural, organic and not smelly. Very good insecticide and fungicide and promotes healthy foliage. You need to test on one leaf for allergy. If no reaction after 24 hours. Then you can spray your plant, following instructions.
