Leaves turning yellow?

#EnglishIvy Some of the leaves on my ivy are growing in more yellow. I know there are plants that you are supposed to trim when this happens. Am I supposed to trim the yellow leaves, or just leave it alone?

Does more look like natural variegation to me. I would not trim, think they are kinda beautiful as they are. If its a whole leaf yellowing and falling off it could be nutrition deficiency like nitrogen..
Ivy leaves can turn yellow if there is too much water around the roots due to over watering, slow draining soils or pots without drainage holes in the base. Yellow ivy leaves can also indicate a lack of nitrogen, magnesium or iron in the soil. Yellowing leaves on ivy are often caused by a shock to the plant’s system. Leaves may yellow following transplantation or when exposed to drafts, dry air or when there are high levels of fertilizer salts in the soil

Also, check that your plant isn’t standing in water, move it from windows that receive direct sunlight and away from heating vents when you first notice yellow leaves.
