ID help?
This pretty sempervivum was labeled as a 'Flanders Passion' on its nursery pot, but Greg isn't finding it. Is there another name for it? I planted it with these others in this arrangement! #identifymyplant #identify #sempervivum

Such an adorable arrangement! ๐
Just like with Echeveria there are soooo many Sempervivum, so Greg doesn't have them all in the library (yet!)
Tag #gregteam #gregfeedback or hit up the amazing @RJG and he may be able to help. ๐
if you're on Android (like me) you can't add it yourself.
P. S. The Greg Team appreciates a link to a reliable source for the species w/the scientific name to verify that it is valid
(with a comparison pic to your plant).
Some nurseries label things wrong and/or make up common names, which is frustrating honestly...
I often use this site for proper ID's but they may not have all hybrid cultivars listed if it's rare one or the nursery used a common name that's not that widely used.

P. S. Just a tip for this arrangement - always water according to the one that is the least water hungry of the species...
In this one, I think the Lola will most likely show signs it needs water last (wrinkled/dimpled or dry leaves) - so water only when it needs water - because Lola's are super sensitive to rotting (at least all I've grown/killed are ๐ณ๐๐ฝ RIP my 1st Lola! ๐)
The Sempervivum are more forgiving and super resilient to many conditions (I grow my outside potted in basically just rocks lol, but they will appreciate a fan if kept inside!
Enjoy your new cute succs! ๐ฑ ๐๐ ๐ ๐

@roxyvivien I'm sorry I kept forgetting to respond to you!! My bad, I'm a busy grad student ๐
Thanks for the advice! My biggest issue with succs is finding a place to put them where they get enough light not to etiolate, since windows and sunlight is at a premium in my tiny apartment lol. The group of 3 here are called lilac mists (so pretty!) and you recognized the lola!
