Cinnamon is good for bugs and mold ^^ a helping of cinnamon on top of the soil, cinnamon oil, and cinnamon sticks in the soil.

Check the roots for rot (mushiness/dark coloration) and make sure you're not overwatering/underwatering. It could also be sunburned if it is in direct sun outside and not used to it.
My lavender plants turned brown and crispy last year as well. I’m not great about remembering to water my outdoor garden every day, so this year I took the internet’s advice and added a generous layer of mulch on top of the soil for all of my outdoor crops! The mulch acts as an insulator for moisture so plants don’t dry out as quickly in the hot sun, and therefore keeping leaves from turning brown and crispy! So far, it’s been pretty successful for this year’s lavender, as well as my other outdoor flowers and veggies 😌
