Is Your Elephant Bush Losing Leaves? Here`s Why - UnusualSeeds
An elephant bush (Portulacaria afra) losing leaves daily is usually caused by overwatering, insufficient sunlight, or sudden environmental stress. Common indicators include wet soil, mushy stems, or leaves turning yellow, wrinkly, or brown before falling. Proper care includes allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings.
Okay how long in direct sunlight or what ever sunlight you have it in if is for how long a day?? Just tell me and I can figure it out
Okay so I search it up and here is what I found
My plant is directly in front of a window. Same location it’s been in for 6 months. The soil is wet but no mushy stem or yellow wrinkled leaves. I also have a second elephant. Bush right next to it that’s doing fine
How many times do you water it?
I have water gloves in both of them which always seemed to work. Maybe it’s releasing too much water now â˜đïļ
Okayyyyy try watching it and water it by your self and see if there is any change at all for a bout a week or two or more!
Lmk how it turns out!
Thank you
