Need help!

Does my cactus have mealy bugs, if so how do I treat/remove it? #mealybugs #helpneeded #questions #helpplants

That white wooly stuff is typical of this cactus. It's supposed to have it. The spines sprout from those areas. They are called the areola.

The good news is it doesn't look like mealbugs to me 🩷
Just to let you know I watered it today but it won’t let me β€œadd” it as watered
Oh! Another way is to make homemade bug spray. All you need is a small or medium spray bottle, dishwasher soap and add it to a quart of water!! I wouldn’t recommend rubbing alcohol because the effects are similar with ethanol. So, DONT use that for your pretties! I hope this really helps! Good luck too!😊
