Is succulent soil best for purple sage? I was told to cut...

@ZippySiamsilver Succulent soil can work well for purple sage as it provides good drainage. Using pieces of a swim noodle at the bottom of the planter can help with drainage too, but make sure it doesn't create waterlogged conditions.

For purple sage, a well-draining soil mix with a blend of sand, perlite, and peat moss can work well. You can also mix in some regular potting soil to provide nutrients. Aim for a soil mix that allows water to drain freely but retains some moisture to keep the roots healthy.
Thank you
