Ring of Fire has spots on leaves

I’ve had this ring of fire for about two years now, it’s consistently had spots on the leaves, and I’ve always pruned the leaves off, thinking that the new growth would not develop the same spots..
I’ve repotted the plant once thinking it would help mitigate the spots.. it didn’t.

Now I have new growth that is extremely slow growing. I know philodendrons are naturally slow growing, but honestly, it’s been at least three months and these have not pushed out yet.

Any advice? #Philodendron #RingofFirePhilodendron
Can you share some closeup pics of the undersides of the leaves?
I have had something similar on my philodendron white princess, it might be pest damage so you may want to check for any bugs- like thrips- however my problem was with watering where it didn’t like how irregularly I watered it (sometimes I would leave it to dry out and sometimes I would water it too regularly). So watering may be the cause.

Those look like extrafloral nectarines. If it is, it’s harmless. My healthy pest free golden crocodile leaves has a ton of them. She has also budded 4 flowers at the same time so she’s super happy.Apparently wiping down the leaves weekly helps to prevent them from being permanent but I have been slacking on that.
