I have a few daylily’s along my fence that are now turnin...

#OrangeDaylily
Looks to me like the natural progression of the Day lily. I have 5, and always cut back (to the ground) all of mine except for one, the one that is always the last to bloom. Notice that one, has brown edges, too. I usually cut back the other four, before July, as they have finished blooming by then, are all brown, and just look bad. The good news is, is that if you cut the flower stalks back to the ground, they typically will bloom again for you, though not profically. To cut all the leaves back, just helps with aesthetics. Attached are photos of the yellow late bloomer, and one of the ones that has been cut all the way down, and is growing back. Hope this helped a little. 🌸🌺
@SwiftMedeola that helps a lot. Thank you so much!!!
@FieryMostii , 😊 , BTW, your orange flower is gorgeous! I am partial to peachy/orangy….of mine, this is my favorite..
