Does anyone just use pummice in terracotta for their lyth...

Ooh very cool! I don’t have lithops in straight pumice but only because it’s hard to source over here and I used up my supply. I do however have some zz plants in straight pumice and not seeing any issues :) 🌿🌿🌿
@AdeptSchneckoak Hi Sara! What you have is actually a split rock (Pleiospilos nelii), which is in the same family as lithops. A few ways to tell them apart is that split rocks have a more rounded/bulbous top, while lithops have a flatter top. Also, the "split" on split rocks is much more pronounced than lithops. Their care requirements are very similar: both are drought-tolerant plants that like their soil to completely dry out between waterings, however split rocks prefer slightly higher humidity and cooler temps 😊
