They prefer a chunky well draining mix. They are prone to root rot. What ever potting mix you choose, only water when dry and provide lots of bright light.
I have never had a problem with mine in regular potting soil but it is better to put it in something well draining. I keep it in a pot with drainage and don’t water it until it’s dry, but this has been one of the most low maintenance plants that I have.
