Why are the leaves so pale?

8 feet from the light, too much light is not the issue.
I think she is overwatered. These need quite a bit of aeration. I keep my Hoyas with.
1/3 perlite
1/3 orchid bark
1/3 peat moss
If the soil doesn't have enough and is taking too long to dry it that will cause the yellowing leaves.
With a plastic pot and then a decorative pot on top there is very air that can access the roots. Without air they lose the ability to absorb water and nutrients from the soil.
I recommend adding aeration. And only using a single pot. 🩷
