New leaf stuck ?? 🫣

Hello yall,
I got this Phil Prince of Orange about a month ago. When I bought it - it had what I thought was a new leaf coming in (see Tree Diddy profile pic) but now it just seem stuck.. πŸ€” I have another Philo, it’s bigger and pink though and the new growth definitely takes its sweet time to unravel. Any advice to help? Should I cut it off to promote new growth or just leave it alone? 🫣

Thanks in advance!😊 #Philodendron #NewGrowth #advice #help #stuckleaf
6ft to light, indirect
3” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
Run washcloth under warm water, wring it out and gently rub it over the leaf, sometimes that helps them unstick.
Yeah my way isn't the safest but I have before just unraveled some leaves by hand
The washcloth suggestion is good - I do a variation by wetting paper towel and wrapping it around the leaf that's stuck & wetting it daily until it opens. I've not had much luck with opening by hand and have unfortunately torn leaves. I've also found increasing the humidity helps. One other thing I'll suggest is to consider increasing the amount of light it's getting - six feet away seems a bit far. Best of luck 🀞πŸͺ΄πŸ’š
I will get a qtip wet and rub it on the membrane that’s holding the new leaf in. It usually releases given a day or so. I have a Prince of Orange doing this now. Like others said… humidity helps the most.
Oh, my pink princess has the same thing and I thought it was normalπŸ˜… thanks for advice @RothyGrace @ballondusoleil @TheOddAsity
It kinda looks like the flower bud to me??
