Indoor black bean plant?

So…I dropped a black bean on the ground while cooking and didn’t want to throw it away so I popped it in some soil without thinking and a few weeks later I have this guy πŸ˜‚ what do I do with this? It’s freezing cold outside. How do I take care of it indoors? I’m guessing it will get a lot bigger?

That’s really neat! Now that it has sprouted, it needs hot and dry conditions to grow. We usually grow green beans in our garden in the summertime. I’ve never grown black beans, especially from the bean itself indoors! I do know it can be done. If you don’t get a lot of sunlight, I would suggest a grow light. They like a lot of light! I’d care for it like you would any other plant. They don’t need a lot of water, I’d water when the soil is almost completely dry. Good luck!! 🌱
@Bplants Thank you!! I’ve learned quite a few things from your response, that’s great to know! ☺️
@elizabeth.myrrh you’re welcome 😊
