You should wrap that around the soil, pin it (the loooooong stem) down at each node, and wait a few weeks for it to take root. You will have a much bushier plant. (AND place it closer to the window or the same thing will happen 😜)
You need to place it in a pot with drainage and a little closer to a window
@HighQuince78 after doing what Nikki @Azplantchic suggests to repropagate, and your plant has recovered, I would recommend giving that baby more water. When plants are thirsty, and there is no water in their pot, the only thing they can do (to keep the growth tip alive) is to take back and use the water and nutrients that were in their oldest leaves. They were using those leaves as a water bottle πŸ’¦ Dont wait for the plant to droop at all, thats too long and means your plant is already panicking about drought. Since you’re in Arizona, I would suggest you are watering this one when the pot is about 80-90% dry (but it also depends on where the roots are). 🩢🌿
@Azplantchic thank you!!
Definitely make sure it has more light. When plants aren’t getting enough light they tend to lean in the direction of light. Looks like an extreme version of this.
