What colour are the leaves that are falling off? Which part of the plant, lower, upper?
Green and lower. One was browning at the tip. Due for watering on thursday. I am going to water from the bottom
How long have you had it, is it in same pot you bought it in? It’s important because nurseries always put a rubber band around the roots of money trees and that HAS to be removed or it will kill the plant. Also, they plant most plants in a soil that holds too much water (most places don’t have a dedicated water person) so repotting in a very well draining soil and taking that rubber band off is crucial
I have had it for one or two weeks. It's from Costas Farms. Well draining soil and right sized plastic pot. Watering according to app schedule. Haven't removed it to check the roots. I will do that and place it back into its original state. I just took the band off (it was taped to the trunk, not the roots) and put it back in its original pot. The soil is moist. I take it. The rest of the leaves that have already started dying off will eventually fall off.
The leaves. It is producing new growth.
