#MiniatureDesertRose I adopted my plant yesterday, but the place I got it from might not take good care of the plants. I can’t tell if it needs any water or not please help πŸ˜πŸ™

@FamedCatgrass Hey! If you put your finger in the soil up to the second knuckle, about an inch down, and the soil is dry, then it's usually a good time to water :) Just be careful of those spikes! If you don't think you can check the soil that way, underwatering is generally safer than over watering! Mini desert roses are ok waiting until their soil is completely dry before getting watered, so he's probably going to be ok if you wait a little either way. I hope this helps! Cute plant β™‘
Use a chop stick blunt side stick it in few areas in the dirt to the bottom. If you pull up any dirt on the chop stick dont water until you pull up no dirt at all. Then saturate it completely until water drains from bottom. Then put back on sunny windowsill.
or moisture meter.
@shopofhorrors Oh wow! That's an awesome idea for the prickly ones!
@EmoryRhodes thank you lol I was getting worried, but I did end up watering it a little
