@SvelteKingfern I think there is nothing bad happening, but you'll have to wait to see if something good is happening. Sometimes where they lose leaves, they'll sprout a new stem/baby. ðŸĪ—. We will hope it is getting ready to sprout new growth!
Examining the photograph, the plant doesn't appear to be unwell; rather, it might be facing an environmental concern. Cactus plants often exhibit lesions like these when exposed to freezing temperatures or excessive sunlight. Another potential factor could be oedema, a condition linked to water uptake. Occasionally, plants absorb more water than they can expel through their leaves or stems. This excess water may accumulate, forming blisters or rough areas on the plant. This phenomenon is akin to a blister that eventually transforms into a somewhat coarse or warty texture.
Could it be a spot where it dropped a leaf early on?
Yes, Melisse @UltraKoreanfir . But my question is whether anything is going on in this spot. It's more green.
Thank you Melisse @UltraKoreanfir . Since I got these plants I'm full of hope, and surprised nicely often. 😃
Thanks for the best answer tag, Sophie!
You're welcome.
@UltraKoreanfir I got some knowledge and the answer I needed, Melisse. Thank you 😀
