I love my waffle. So I when I first got mine I didn't go online to check the best soil mix. I just grabbed the indoor plant mix. I didn't know there's a mix for a waffle. Since she was doing so well I didn't change it ..the watering schedule for it on this app is a bit off it needs a tweak, but due to lighting, humidity, grow zone..you'll have to figure it out . Get a pot that drains. They like to be moist not wet or dry. Get a water meter to check how moist the soil is to help you determine when your waffle needs to be watered. Also mine responds well to the grow light but not directly under it. Play around with lighting. You'll know if it's too much his leaves will crisp.
