Leaves are starting to brown on edges. Any ideas why?

As a Calathea, there might be a number of reasons.
Too much light (donβt like direct sun).
Too hot/cold.
Too wet/dry.
Inconsistent watering.
Drafts/heaters.
Bugs.
Compact soil.
Too much fertilizer.
Wrong water (doesn't like too alkaline water or minerals in water).
Too dry air (they like it humid).
Change in environment (they need time to acclimate).
Recent repot.
You looked at it wrong.

Well-water might be heavy on minerals, I have that myself, so I tend to use rainwater on my calatheas just in case as they can be sensitive π But it might work just fine. Just make sure to flush the soil now and then to prevent mineral-build-up in the soil π Only watering form the bottom as you do in a self-watering pot also helpsπ
