What's eating my morning glory leaves? Never see insects ...

Could be leaf hoppers?. I have the same on my petunias and hibiscus . I used all natural peppermint oil spray. I also made a homemade orange peel and apple cider vinegar water. It acts as a natural pest repellent and it’s safe. I made orange water by peeling 3 large oranges and putting the rinds in a small pot on the stove with water. I added 1 TSP Apple cider vinegar and the juice from the oranges. I boiled it for 15 mins and then it cool. I strained the rinds out once cooled and added the concoction to a gallon of distilled water and watered my plant soil with it. You could also transfer to a spray bottle and spray the leaves. I treated my plant in the evening to avoid full sun as some treatments can burn the leaves if applied in the heat. I’ve not had the bugs return for a few weeks. Here is the peppermint spray I also use. I purchased it from Amazon
