Yo gang, got this Fukien Tea Bonsai about a month ago and...
3β pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
If youβve been watering frequently but it still looks dry then it could be a sign of root rot! Itβs caused by overwatering and excessively moist soils, and it affects how the plant takes up water, hence why it still looks dry! Have a look at the roots, if theyβre brown, mushy, and fragile, then itβs definitely a sign of rot
She needs waaaay more water your poor baby is very thirsty.
With your bonsai in a tiny pot they need watered so much more.
I would remove the rock covering so you can tell how wet or dry she is us is helps oxygen reach the roots to keep your tree healthy.
I water mine every 2 days granted she is in a gritty well draining soil. But these trees NEVER want to go totally dry.
When mine is growing a lot there are times I water mine daily.
It will take time and consistent watering but if her trunk has not dried out she should come back around. But the process will take time and patience. πΏ
