Crispy but soil is moist?
#HouseHollyFern it’s next to a humidifier but that doesn’t seem to be enough humidity. Any ideas?

I have an ivy doing something similar. Mine was from overwatering so I’ve backed off and put it in a bright room for lots of indirect sunlight. My daughter has one in her room that she’s had for years and she neglects it horribly, yet it’s climbing on her walls. 🤷🏼♀️ It’s a weird thing, too much water and the roots can’t deliver any more and the plant gets dehydrated.
