Thoughts?

My friend was talking to me about her yard and what she was doing with it and I asked her about the backyard. She has 4 dogs and hates yard work so after she tried to tell me that she was gonna hire people to come like every 2 weeks or so after I told her how crazy that was I suggested that we get ground cover for the backyard (after we deforest it). Something that will prevent tall weeds and won’t grow to tall and maybe look like. So I was looking around and decided that creeping thyme might be a good choice. Cute pupper! I think whatever you and your friend go with should be a native plant. Non-native ground cover-type plants can edge out native plants and cause ecological problems. Here’s a resource for choosing a native species. https://choosenatives.org/articles/plant-native-ground-covers-make-america-green/
@PlantyPlanter I agree with @FreshWidow. πŸ’―
