Anyone know why my succulent has pieces falling off? :(
@GreenthumbPNW Did you ever find out why it was happening?
Might be a case of overwatering since those leaves that have fallen off look discolored and still plump with a little wrinkle.
Your soil doesnβt really look gritty enough for succulents, which may be part of why! Its not drying out enough and is resulting in overwatering ):
I suggest getting a gritty soil made for succulents/cacti and also buying a bag of perlite. I mix my pots about 50/50 soil and extra perlite.
Only water them when that soil is super duper bone dry too! The plant can often show signs of thirst. It can go several weeks without water. Typically I donβt water most of my succulents for about 2-3 weeks, some go over 4 weeks.

@itsjordan thank you for your reply.. I actually bought soil that was for succulents so I believe I have been over watering. The app was telling me to do about a 1/2 cup every week and I think thatβs way too much..
@itsjordan so I believe Iβll stop listening to the app and water 2-3 weeks or so from now on, thank you sm
