Need help why did my plant do this?

Hi Rihanna. I can't answer your question but it is a good one. I just received my Monstera Albo today. I will pay attention when someone answers your question as I'm sure I will face challenges with mine as well. Love the leaves!
@LuckyAnahaw89 @WormWarriorFarm Hi Jesse (and Rob πŸ˜„), I can’t say for sure because I only have this one dark and close up photo to go by, but I would say more often than not, browning in the variegated areas like this is because of low light situations. Because variegated plants do not produce chlorophyll in the variegated (white, cream etc) areas, the green parts of the leaves are doing double duty, making food for the whole plant. They need more light than your standard all green plants, to make up for that. When they are in light that is too low, and they can’t feed their whole self, the variegated areas are the first to be sacrificed, as it were.

They are also susceptible to burning if you put them immediately in a high light situation. So it’s important to *gradually* acclimate your plant to higher light. πŸ€—
