This plant has had bugs before, but they’ve only affected the leaves. These patches are only on the main stem of the plant, it isn’t on any of the leaves. Any ideas as to what it is and/or if I need to intervene? I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be there…

Do you have the Plant Parent app? I love it. It's a free download, but a subscription costs. I don't have the subscription, but I can still use the app to diagnose my plants.
