Are Thalias toxic to cats?

I received a Thalia plant as a gift and just wanted to make sure it won’t harm my cats. I can’t find any definitive information about their toxicity to cats. Thanks for the help!
Hey Lauren! Could you possibly add your plant card? I know there are strains of Narcissus and Stromanthe called "Thalia" (though Google will try and shunt you to Dhalia, unhelpfully! Lol πŸ˜‚). We can't really answer without knowing exactly what plant it is (as Thalia can apply to several, very different species apparently! Lol) xx
@JenniB81 Does this help?
@RulerTobacco it sure does! That's a Kalanchoe πŸ₯° unless I need glasses lol 🀣 They're considered "mildly toxic" so in most cases kitty might get a upset tummy, throw up or have diahorrea... To be honest I have 2 (not so bright) cats and a HOUSEFUL of borderline toxic plants (and a couple that are properly toxic which are kept where they can't reach! Lol) but only one of my girls (we lost one last year at 20, one is her sister and about to turn 21 and we've a nutter of a rescue cat who's about 14) has ever shown ANY interest in my plants, and it was only one... The spider plant which is totally safe but acts like a mild hallucinogen for cats! So she nibbles the leaves and bundles about the house half stoned for half an hour apparently 🀣🀣 but she's never touched any of the others!

So... I don't think it means you need to get rid of the plant tbh, but it's totally owners choice! Some cats are just out to use up their nine lives and a best without temptation in their way! Lol but there's LOTS of toxic outdoor plants they seem to know not to chew on so... I reckon she'll be ok πŸ₯° Kalanchoe are nice tidy wee plants anyway so you can always stick it on a shelf or mantelpiece where puss can't reach it? 🫣😊 I hope that helps! Stoked I could a) identify and B) answer your question! Lol xxx
This was so helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question ☺️
Welcome to Greg @RulerTobacco!

Such good info @JenniB81 πŸ™πŸ‘ love how this turned out to be a #Kalanchoe and your description of pets + plants is very nuanced and pragmatic
