Aloe or Haworthia?

I bought this plant because I thought it was a Haworthia. Greg thought it was a Haworthia in the store. I get home and Greg says it’s an Aloe, and after comparing the two, aloe seems correct :( I wanted another variety of Haworthia.
Do you agree or disagree? Which is it? #WhatPlantIsThis #Succulents #Whatsthisplant

So this is an aloe! A really big tell is that it has those sharp teeth along the sides of the leaves. That is usually a characteristic of an aloe and not of a haworthiaβ€”which haworthia were you looking to get? Just another one in general?

Lace aloes are still great! (: their care isn’t really different from a haworthia.
@itsjordan I was just looking for any variety of Haworthia. I have a bunch of zebra stripes, but the little markings on this aloe fooled me.

We had a different aloe that has not done well in our home but is in a different location, so hopefully with this one at our West window with the others will do better.
@Succulentsssss I gotcha! Usually the most common you’ll find in stores are the zebra looking ones, although they can have quite the variety of stripes.

I do have a few varieties of haworthia myself like a fairy washboard (no stripes) and haworthia Savannah (light green, no stripes, and does actually have a few of those sharp teeth but not quite the same as aloes have) and then a variety of haworthia I don’t have are the cooperi type, but they are common too. You may find those types in store.

Cool! Thank you for the insights!
Not saying this is a Gasteria but they do have the appearance of both species and they do well with the same care requirements .
Very nice plant! πŸ’šπŸ™ŒπŸ»
