My plant looks like it's dying

#CandelabraAloe
1ft to light, direct
11” pot without drainage
Last watered 10 months ago
@GemRainbow93 Welcome to the Greg community! Are there drainage holes in the pot the aloe is in? Aloes are succulents and store water in their leaves! They are drought tolerant and need well draining succulent/cactus soil mix. It looks as if your plant is in a glazed ceramic pot and not a terracotta pot. Terracotta pots are naturally porous pots whereas glazed ceramic pots are non-porous and it takes longer for the soil to dry out especially if there are no drainage holes! You may want to carefully remove the plant from its pot and check the roots for root rot. If the roots are soft and mushy you may have a problem!
It’s sunburnt, it needs less direct sunlight
