Propagation technique
She was so root bound but did not like getting repotted. Her thick stem turned to mush!
Question 1 should I try water or soil propagation?
Question 2 can I propagate the whole long trail? Or will that fail and I need to chop into ~4inch prop sections. Thank you #Kleinia

You can propigate any length #stemcutting but in my experience it's easier to propigate cuttings that have 2 nodes (where the leaves were) and aren't so long they can't stand up on their own in a pot.
You can seperate them, just remember that plants have a sense of up/down so don't forget which end is "down" (closer to the root) that's the end you'll want to prop.
Good luck! π€πΌ ππππ
It takes a lot longer to see roots for my winter props, it's not impossible, just a little tricker than propigation in the spring or fall.
Propigation prefers temperate weather rather than extremes, so keeping it in 65-75 degrees and out of direct sun is ideal.
My outdoor leaf & stem props are not liking the dips down to 40's at night right now but I don't have space to move them all inside. π
