New to cissus discolor

I was given this plant and am not sure why it lost its variegation but I saw a video where someone said they need lots of light so I put her right by my grow light and made sure she had water any tips?

They can revert back to just green for a lot of reasons and sometimes it is caused by something like low light ( this causes green leaves to increase clorophyll so they can absorb more light).

The stress of a new home can also cause it, so if she just began when you adopted her the stress of adapting to a new environment may have caused it.

But stress caused by temperature fluctuations, watering issues etc. can also cause it.

Many times if you prune them back to the last variegated leaf on the plant it will sort of reset the plant and it will start putting out variegated growth again.

While they do require light direct light will burn them. The grow light should be perfect just make sure it is no more than 12 inches above her and let the light run for at least 12 hours a day. You can go up to 16 hours a day through summer for grow lights.
I forgot to add low humidity can also lead to loss of variegation so be sure to have plenty around her. You can increase humidity by clustering plants together, adding a pebble tray below her filled with water (be sure the pot is not sitting in the water), or the best way a cool mist humidifier. โค๏ธ
