Is this enough light for my spider plant?

Hey guys! I got this spider plant yesterday and noticed it wasn’t in its best condition. I’m not sure how much light it previously got since it was a gift to me. Will it perk up in this lighting and thrive? Also there is usually a little bit more light but it’s a little cloudy outside right now. Thanks in advance! 😊 #SpiderPlant #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantMoms
@Succulent_Soul it looks a little dark there. Is it within 3 feet of a window? Or ideally 1 or 2 feet?
@Succulent_Soul I agree with @DreamMachine looks a little dark: I’d move it to get more light or grow light (jmo)
@Preciousplants1 good afternoon Sherri! How are you doing today? πŸ’›βœ¨
@DreamMachine hi Nadia I’m good πŸ™‚ how are things on your end? πŸ’œ good to hear from you
@Preciousplants1 you know, they’ve been better πŸ˜† I’ve had some frustrations, but I can’t complain! I have mine and my family’s health to be grateful for πŸ₯° How have you been doing? I just saw some of your beautiful begonias on Josh’s post! Very lovely 🀩
My spider plant wouldn’t make any progress no matter the light…bright indirect, 2 ft from south window, one foot from south window… UNTIL I used @DreamMachine recipe for chunky soil…one part soil, one part perlite, one part bark…now I can’t get her to stop shaking her locks. If I gave her a phone right now I think she’d fill it with selfies! 🀳
@PoeticPukatea87 haha! I am currently using regular soil mixed with fluval stratum to make it chunkier. I moved it into my window where it gets plenty and it is doing much better!
More light! πŸ™‚
