Is blooming pretty common for this plant?

Echeveria in general, from what I understand, tend to bloom when they are very happy and healthy (as do many other succulents). So if yours is blooming, it means itβs feeling quite satisfied with its care! There are some side bars and rabbit holes which Iβm sure others will bring up, but to answer your question, yes π
Iβd also like to add that Echeveria are famous for putting out offsets, or baby echeverias, all around the plant, so if you see what looks like mini versions of your plant, itβs more likely an offset or βpupβ than a flower. A flower will be very distinct on an ever-longer, very thin stalk. Offsets are also something to celebrate, in my opinion, as they also mean the plant is feeling healthy enough to reproduce.
