I agree with everything Shelly said. I have mine in tropical soil, it gets a couple hours of direct a day but also has a 12 hour grow light on it. Do the chopstick test before watering. Drainage is a must have for all plants. You may want to repot, and keep in mind that too big of a pot can lead to root rot.
