Lights for ikea Rudsta?
I have an ikea rudsta greenhouse cabinet. And am currently struggling with deciding on grow lights. So far Iβm aware of full spectrum LEDs but I need something thatll stick to the shelves or hang well and can withstand high humidity as well as fit under the shelves. Any ideas?
@Catplantaddict thanks for the suggestion! I appreciate it! :)
Waterproof leds are EVERYWHERE. Just gotta know where to find them. Try specialist aquascaping stores. The lights they carry are usually waterproof [to prevent damage from evaporation from open-top aquariums. As a bonus many reputable brands are full-spectrum, and can be controlled via app or controller, including spectrum, light timer and even sunrise/sunset function. A few also have nighttime modes and weather modes. If you're still skeptical you can always opt for underwater leds
@Araceae thanks for the info! I do own a fluval smart LED bar light for my aquarium and it has all of those features. However it was really expensive unfortunately. Do you know of any brands that are on the cheaper side?
@BogBody twinstar tends to be slightly more affordable, but it doesn't allow customisation [really bright full spectrum lights tho]. If you're in europe superfish is another option, but also no customisation if im not wrong. Amazon also has some good ones, people love lominie and hygger. Lominie is more of pendant lights, but has customisations. Hygger is dimmer, but it cheap and comes in multiple sizes. Chihiros also has a budget series, app custom time but can't change spectrum. If you can get them, week aqua has some customisable ones of all sizes that include uv as well. Odyssea is another good, bright one but not customisable. If you can get them, frok is also a good brand, customisable with remote and rgb but same range as twinstar. Note that this is based on my region, and may differ slightly wherever in the world you are
@Araceae thank you so much! This is a big help! Iβm in the US but Iβll see whatβs available. Youβre wonderful thank you! π
