So many questions re: "Ghost" something?
Just bought this large lady from someone on fb marketplace.
Firstly: is she a ghost plant or a ghosty hybrid or... something else? Will I need to wait for flowers to know for sure? I looked everywhere online for ID tips, and only got more confused.
Secondly: should I repot? My first instinct is yes, and to chop her back.... but this is a new kind of plant to me, so I need help!
Thirdedly: what is the white crusty stuff on her leaves?
Any advice on how to proceed with her would be appreciated!

I donβt have much insight for youβ¦ but I have this article I book marked online that helps identify over 200 echeverias WITH pics. Itβs come in handy.
I personally would trim her back and clean her up, but thatβs just me. I donβt have much help for you in the white stuff.

Looks like my ghost, and seems to have similar growth, although yours has tons more growth than mine. In CA I saw these growing as big bushes, so it looks pretty natural. It's pretty cool, I think.
Hard to tell from these pics, but white crusty areas might be oedema from too much water.
This looks like quite the project to do either a re-pot or chop 'n prop. Good luck with whatever you decide.

This is a ghost plant, not a hybrid. Also it looks like it may have some kind of fungal issue. Not sure how you should go about treating it but there are a couple different ways. I use arber brand fungicide and insecticide to treat my plants to prevent fungal issues and insects that cause fungal issues.
