My Alocasia is changing colour

When I first got her she was da right green stem though now it’s turning purple, is this something to worry about? Still putting our new leaves and seeming healthy though a bit worried, I didn’t notice until I compared the photos from when I first got her. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #AlocasiaAddicts

It's normal from what a quick Google search has shown me and I've seen plenty of alocasias with purple stems. I think it's normal for most of the species out there.
@SaintlyCosmo Hello Charlotte!

Alocasia like moisture, humidity and sunlight. So it's a fine balance between draining, keeping moisture and allowing the roots to breathe.

Alocasia do drop leaves though and can push out new leaves when the old one is in the process of going.

This is what I found.
