How can I help this plant?
This is a callisia repens, or a pink panther/turtle vine (it has a lot of names). I got it 2 months ago. Clearly, some of the vines are doing well, but a lot of the others have fallen over. Thereβs also a lot of dead leaves lower on the vine but healthy leaves at the top, making the plant look worse than it is. I tried grooming out the dead leaves, but most were attached. Also, the vines that were dying but have new leaves at the end have nonexistent roots. They donβt want to stay in the dirt.
Does anyone have any advice in general or for this specific plant? #CallisiaPinkPanther #HappyPlants #help

@BumbleBee340 Looking at your plant I can tell you that your pot is too big . There is normally 1 root system and everything else just expands out . So if the arenβt doing good on bottom theyβve pulled away from the root ball and detached wonβt grow. Iβd transfer a much smaller pot to save what is attached to the root system. And bottom watering is a must for this plant . Youβll also want to give it a good amount of humidity. Either a pebble tray or a humidifier. They are a challenge to get back to health once they reach this state but worth it as adorable as they are .
@ILoveMyPlants Okay thank you! I thought a bigger pot would be good for it but I guess not. Does this plant want a shallower pot?
I also think the issue is due to underwatering actually. The soil was super dry all the way through when I checked it yesterday

@BumbleBee340 No a bigger pot will set you up for root rot and no growth
@ILoveMyPlants hopefully itβs happier now! Iβm also getting a second grow light to focus more on this plant. All my others are sharing the same light from higher up on my plant stand and they donβt need as much light as this guy.
