How would you handle this repot?

#Begonia it flowered over and over this summer and into winter. One flower grew a strong baby. They’re both leggy and definitely need the soil refreshed and a stake. Would you separate them or leave them together? Bigger pot slightly or same? Def want to change to plastic she dries out quick
0ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage

@TheMightyOddish Hi Staci! I would leave them together and put them in a slightly larger pot! Maybe 2-3” larger, with a larger base. They are beautiful!πŸͺ΄πŸŒΊ
@TheMightyOddish Hi Staci! Beautiful begonia 😍 I would wait to determine pot size until after I’ve assessed the size of the root ball. Since begonias have fine delicate roots, that are generally pretty shallow, I wouldn’t want to go up too large of a size because you’d be risking root rot conditions then! If you’re not dealing with a lot roots, a soil refresh is probably fine to do, if that’s how she gets her nutrients, and she needs it. Personally, I would not separate. I’m on team #fullpot πŸ˜…
I hope I don’t rot it :/ it was so hard to get out
