Does anyone know what’s wrong with my plant? I got this f...

#Euphorbia
1ft to light, indirect
5” pot with drainage
Last watered 6 months ago
Well, euphorbias are succulents so they only need to be watered when the soil is completely dry @PlayfulPecan35. There's that, but sometimes they do go through shock or stress in a different environment until they adjust.
Yes too much of water
Hi Amanda, I’m just wondering if the soil is only coco coir?
If you just bought it a day or 2 ago, it definitely needs to be repotted in a new pot with new soil. Home Depot vendors pack plants hoping for quick sales, so they use the least & inexpensive pots/soil, (not saying it’s bad- they sell a ton of plants- I know, my hubby works there). My advice is to get a new pot, soil (cactus/succulent and add perlite and coco coir- 1part each- is good). It will get a little sad looking, normal after a repot, but it should bounce back. I hope this helps.
@SillyPlantGirl I’ve had it about a month now but it’s still sad looking. I can’t tell the medium but I can repot. I have an aroid mix and a succulent mix by mollys. Do you think either would be fine? This succulent one has - The mix includes Akadama, orchid bark (fir), lava rock, Hyuga, pumice stone, mycorrhizae and beneficial bacteria (Rhizobacteria).
@PlayfulPecan35 I think an Aroid mix would retain too much water and do further damage- just my opinion. Cactus/succulent is good because it’s a really well draining mix. If you can’t get that, you could mix the succulent mix and add some pumice or perlite. Akadama is a tough one for me because I’m learning there are different types- baked at high temps vs not. I can’t answer about Myco and/or Rhizo as I don’t use either. Bottom line is you want the soil to give your plant enough water, but not sit in it. You could even add tiny pebbles to help aerate. When you repot- check its roots- make sure they are a light danish color. Dark brown or black (and it will stink really bad), and it could mean root rot.
@SillyPlantGirl not danish- tan-ish. ugh lol
@PlayfulPecan35 don’t get alarmed about root rot- your plant looks good except for a few leaves- I think it’s safe to say to just repot with new soil.
