I going to say it like it is even though I know it is not what you want to hear.
She's still alive so don't poke at her just move her to a colder location.
The Japanese Cherry Tree is not a bonsai that can be kept indoors.
They absolutely must have the seasonal cues of the outdoors to thrive for a period of time. Otherwise your tree will not have a good life expectancy.
It is trying to go dormant which it really needs. Without a dormancy period it will never flower and the overall health will suffer. In fact your tree needs this so much it can tolerate temps of -10 degrees for a short period of time and be fine.
If you stick it in a garage and ignore it water less often and don't fertilize her that would be beneficial. She needs a 3 month dormancy period so don't wait you need to start now!
Don't worry she will be fine and is doing just what she requires by taking this period of rest. Come spring she will sprout back new growth very quickly. This dormancy period allows her to store the energy she needs for next year. ๐ณ
