What is thus

The plant in the image is correctly labeled as a Pecan tree (Carya illinoinensis). It’s a deciduous tree native to the southern United States and northern Mexico, known for its edible nuts and feather-like, pinnate leavesβ€”just like the ones shown in the photo.

Quick facts about pecan trees:
β€’ Light needs: Full sun is ideal (indirect light may be okay temporarily indoors).
β€’ Growth: Can grow over 100 feet tall outdoors.
β€’ Water: Likes deep watering, especially when young.
β€’ Soil: Prefers well-draining, fertile soil.

It’s unusual but fun to grow indoors for a bitβ€”as long as you’re ready to transplant it outside eventually!
