Can I get rid of the brown sprouts?
#YellowIris
Another inherited plant. Not sure what it is but this was the closest looking one the Greg app.
Iβm wondering if I can get rid of any of the brown bits at the bottom. I havenβt checked the roots but Iβm thinking if these sections have died off the plant might benefit from being separated from it. What do you all think?

@PivotalDionysos Hi Rachel π I love inherented plants,π I can't really tell from the picture if those are dead leaves or if they are rhizomes. If they are rhizomes they may look dead but now that you're taking care of it I wouldn't be surprised if it produces a stem out of it. How does the brown stuff feel? Is it hard or is it just papery nothingness? Lol sorry I don't know how to describe it. π
@princesspitstop itβs been very cathartic going through them all and improving things! Ah maybe they are rhizomes. Iβll what a bit and see what happens. They are pretty hard. Thanks ππ
