Is it to late to plant it in July in southern Louisiana

I’m not in your state, but general rule of thumb is to plant in spring or in early fall but fall, be careful because the roots need to be more established before frost - if you frost. 🀭 But! If you really want to try it, I’d recommend making sure you give it a little shade. We do a sun umbrella for our newer plants and that way they don’t get too much sun then deep water twice a week so they root.. but this is just what I’ve done.. we are a dry state, but we are between 90’s ⬆️60’s ⬇️ if that helps at all
