Babies?
What are these on my moon cactus?
Should I leave them? Mother in law wanted it then couldn't take it with her so I kept it...

Babies!! Thatβs how the moon cactus grows. BUT you must keep the babies connected or theyβll die.
If you want to try your hand at grafting your own cactus, you can get a rooted dragon fruit and harvest some babies then. But until then, donβt cut the apron strings yet.
@Boymom-plantmom recently grafted a moon cactus β I believe it has attached successfully! (They have a high rate of not making it.)

@sarah10orio Thank you thank you! This is the first ever I have had and she is doing so well I needed to ask and make sure I don't mess her up. I do have a dragon fruit cactus but it is super tall and leggy I think I'll leave the babies for now. Because I don't want to unalive it π₯Ί
