Its looks dried out, being kept indoors isn’t the best for the majority of bonsai.
What you can do is try this, start with a branch and a couple other spots:
1. Gently scrape a small branch or trunk with your nail or small knife .
2. If it’s green and moist underneath, the bonsai is alive.
3. If it’s brown and dry, that part is likely dead.
