Sunlight - Direct or Indirect?

I have this near-south facing window in my room, and I’m wondering if it’s direct or indirect sunlight, and for about how long it would be.
This is the same window from each of my plants’ perspectives #HappyPlants #WhatMyPlantSees #ThanksForPhotosynthesis #

If the sun shines directly into your room (you can see the sun from your window) it is direct. You can use a sheet curtain to help filter the sunlight into more indirect so it’s not as intense on your plants if they can’t have direct. Indirect sunlight is when you don’t have the sun shining on an area but it’s still bright with daylight. How long the sun is there depends entirely on where you live and time of year. You can look up daylight hours for your area online.
@ravioliApproved I just want to say that I heartily approve of you taking photos from your plants perspective 🥹 That is the cutest thing I’ve heard all day. ✨🌿

And @generaltay is right, if any part of your plant actually sees the sun, that is direct sunlight. If your plant only sees sky, but without sunlight touching it, thats indirect light!
