The don’t prefer full direct sun I would say morning sun is okay but not full afternoon exposure because these are the hottest harshest rays. I’ve burnt one of my jades that way, but bright indirect or partial sun will work. Remember to give it shade during the afternoon! Think about how it feels to stand in full sun on a hot day, after a few minutes your done right ? The plants feel the same, I thought succulents could tolerate full sun all day , but It sunburned

Yep, you are right. Jades in general don’t really like direct sun. They still can live with it. They can enjoy direct sunlight for couple hours, but not the whole day.
